All products are protected and preserved by their packaging, which plays a fundamental role in ensuring shelf life, transportation, and brand exposure, translating the value of each packaged item.

And even with all the changes in habits and consumption, resulting mainly from the pandemic period, the packaging sector presents expressive growths.

A macroeconomic study of the Brazilian packaging industry, conducted by FGV, shows that the gross value of the physical production of packaging is expected to reach the amount of R$110.9 billion, an increase of 31.1% compared to the R$84.6 billion reached in 2020.

In the totality of this sector, metallic packages represent 21.4%, with steel and tinplate standing out with a 62% share.

The main segments served by this type of packaging are paints and chemicals, canned foods and powdered milk; Brasilata has a significant participation in all of these and continues to expand its portfolio to meet the highest quality requirements and technical demands of each category.

Attentive to trends in the packaging industry, we are able to anticipate customer needs and, at a certain point, this comes up against the factor of recyclability and saving natural resources.

Steel can be recycled infinite times, without loss, because it becomes steel again and can become new packaging.

In addition, because it is biodegradable, it does not cause any harm to the environment. With this, we achieve what most large packaging companies seek, which is the closed cycle - from manufacture to correct disposal - ensuring that no new resources need to be extracted and saving energy throughout the process.
