Pails | Pails Plus

Brasilata, one of the most award-winning companies in the packaging sector in terms of technology and quality solutions, is now introducing a new closure system for conical pails, containers used widely by the paint and chemical products industries. The new Brasilata Plus Pail offers greater advantages to manufacturer and final user alike.

The conventional gripped lid has been substituted by the Plus Closure system lid, which is provided with a mechanical security device (lock), thus eliminating the sharp edges that used to make handling the container hazardous. The new closure device developed by Brasilata is easily adapted to either the cylindrical pneumatic system or the roller system, thus optimizing the paint industry's system of filling the containers and eliminating the need for new closure equipment.

The Brasilata Plus Pail can be opened to its full extent and the lid is provided with a special rubber ring, which insures that the pail is perfectly sealed even after it has been opened and closed several times. This new device improves the performance of the container, in that the conventional pail grip lid cannot assure that the container will remain leak proof or water resistant after the container has been opened the first time.

The new Brasilata closure also offers other advantages. The old grip lid could crease while removing the paint from the inside of the lid, which does not happen with the Plus Pail.
